Britt's November Challenge, Day3: Colorado.

Today was one of those days. Driving up to Fort Collins to visit Austin (the most boring drive ever) I had a lot of time to think, and was able to just soak everything in around me. The trees, my fresh brewed mate tea in my portable glass, my cd player in my car, corn fields that produce my favorite snack of all time (popcorn),  hot air balloons flying over the Rockies, the heat in my car that I could direct only at my feet while driving, farm land and happy animals (saw a lot of this, made me smile), speed limits (if you know me well, you know that I am unable to get any more points on my license if I still want to drive--over the months I have not only become very aware of the speed limit signs, but I've learned to appreciate them. Go figure.)

So, on Day 3 of Britt's November Challenge... although its hard to focus on one thing today, I am thankful for Colorado. Thats right. The whole state. Its constantly throwing breathtaking views, amazing people and ideal weather at me, Colorado forces me to slow down in my busy life and just soak it all up. And for that,  I am grateful.
