Every year, it's a tradition in my family that we all do the BB together. Some years there are costumes involved...
Top left photo: My dad and his bf from college, Mark Koenig. They both are NOT runners, at all. They do this every year together to make their women happy. This picture was taken in the first 5 feet of the race, they were all smiles :)
Top right photo: The GF crew. Connor, Mark K., me, Papa T and Jared (who flew home from LA for the race!)
Center: This is a photo I took after I had finished, watching all the other thousands of participants running into Folsom stadium. I have to admit, I got teary. It is so amazing to see this many people running together, all smiles.
Bottom Left photo: this is at mile 5 along the course. I am at the front of the photo, runnin' my little heart out!
Bottom right photo: My bros. Jared and Connor. Jared rolled up his running shorts and as always, is sportin' the Ray Bans...and Connor, well he thought jean shorts were a good idea, he found out soon enough that chafing was an issue and caused him to walk most of the race. Lesson learned? probably not.
Overall, a great race and tons of fun. See ya next year!
